I hate stealing someone else’s line but ” the worst part about this book is that it ends!” I read a LOT of books and I can honestly say that this is now my favorite book. Fritz has an uncanny way of letting the reader feel like he/she is a part of the adventure. I kept looking for a good place to put the book down and couldn’t find one. I read it in one sitting. Can’t wait for the next story!

I bought a copy of your book from the Philadelphia Outdoor Sports Expo at the Oaks Expo Center. I was wearing a camo hat when I purchased it and had my twin brother with me. You told me you wanted me to go on the website when I finished to give my opinion of it. I thought it was a fantastic book and was very inspiring to me personally. Throughout the novel I had to keep reminding myself it was all a true stroy. The epilogue was very moving to me and did a very good job at tying everything together. I want to let you know I will be loaning out my copy to my friends to read as well. I am sure they will enjoy it just as much as I have. Please let me know when your next book is coming out.
P.S. Its been four months, what does SDI mean again?

My name is Wolfgang and I am 12 years old. I have recently read Fritz’s book and I enjoyed reading it. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes a good adventure. I had read this book for a book report and found it easy to summarize. Adventure On A Dare was an excellent book with lots of information and nail biting moments. I hope they make it into a movie so that I can take my friends and family. Fritz, I can’t wait to buy your next book.

Hi Fritz,

Jerry, from Keller, told us about your book and we immediately bought a copy. It is fantastic! We have both read it and enjoyed it very much. Our son and daughter are passing it around now. Let us know when your other books come out. We will love to read about the snowmobile trip and the river trip.

Hi Fritz,

I received your book as a gift and I must say it was great. It’s the first time I read a book from cover to cover without putting it down. I can only hope there will be more. There is only one thing that would make Adventure on a Dare even better and that is on the big screen as a movie.

Thanks again for the airport ride, and for the book…what a great story! Let me know when the next installment is out!

Ron Devlin: Drinking, dare led to Hamburg man’s ill-fated canoe trip from Staten Island, N.Y., to Cuban jail

Can’t wait for the movie. – Ron Devlin, reporter. It’s my job, so I checked When I edited Ron Devlin’s column on Fritz Sprandel’s adventures, I thought, what a great story.

Adventure on a dare is a fantastic book. The communist’s quote is worth the price alone.

Adventure on a Dare is a great read. I could not put the book down (I read it from cover to cover on a recent plane flight). Thanks for sharing your experiences. I can’t wait for more!

Hi Fritz,

I’m Chris’ wife (from your men’s group). Chris shared the manuscript of your upcoming book with me and I actually put another book aside to finish yours first! I enjoyed it so much that I plan to share it with my sister and a few other people. First, I want to tell you how well written it was. It was an easy read, which made it fun to follow your journey and exciting to imagine what might happen next. My second comment is that your descriptive style of writing made it possible for me to quickly create visual images in my mind of what you must have looked like out in the ocean — one man and his canoe, at times silly, in some other instances bordering on crazy, but always challenging the elements. I can’t wait to read about more of your exploits.
